Gently down the stream
I saw him coming. He had about 15 piercings, in his face. Kinda cool? I quickly reached for my pocket, but no CDs were left. Shit. Hold that thought brother, let me run and grab you a free album real quick. He was a nice guy, everyone is nice if you smile and listen.
We are a punk band. But sometimes we don't look punk at all. And that is the secret, my friends. Look so un-punk that you become very punk. It's like camouflage without the war. Blend in and disappear. Like cat burglers on a mission of mice. Please don't share this secret with any other bands.
The next thing that happened in this story is my friend Russian Tim ordered a white wine and poured it into a pint glass. It was possibly the most punk thing I have ever seen. Then again, Paul from Reds had a mickey of Jäger on stage with him, and the drummer from Potbelly let a girl staple a $20 dollar bill to his forehead, with a real-life stapler.
We are playing a very special punk rock show on March 12th, and Russian Tim is the happy host. The Greatest Sons, Contra Code, cold ones, full spread. You should definitely come to this show. It also celebrates the beginning of Resolve Records. If you need vinyl or friendship, this is your moment in time.
I like sitting in parks on the morning after shows and pretending to drink coffee and laughing at last-night memories in a completely sane and reasonable way.
Row row row your boat, you guys.
