As a generally festive person, I love the holiday season. Santa brought me Blades of Steel in 1989 and I've never looked back. Annual celebrations rule. Like birthdays and Claydays. Fun to look forward to, and fun when they finally come. Simple rewards for us workers of the daily grind. Family, friends, food, fun. I have zero religious infections but I certainly love this time of year.
I'm a friendly neighbour but a combative detainee. Don't spill sauce on my new satin sash. This is an annual reminder that we keep no volume knobs on this guy around the holidays and he swallowed alotta fireworks before we rang the doorbell. Thank you so much for understanding and please have a very joyous annual celebration with you and yours.
Getting excited is a cool part about being a kid. It's still cool. Santa still comes. The spirit of the season takes many forms, including minty! I fear a life without excitement. Is that the goal of establishment? No dice, you guys. Religious or not, Christmas rules, and I would like to send a warm hug or a sturdy eye-contact-hand-shake in your direction at this very moment, no matter what affiliation you may carry in your satchel of success.
Cheers to a short work week and a million smiles from coast to coast.
